A Porsche 911 restomod can preserve an air-cooled car's mechanical character, rework its body and running gear, or replace its drivetrain entirely. Start with the exact chassis and intended outcome before choosing a builder.
These listings have 911 platform evidence in the directory. The dated examples distinguish an actual project, a published model program and broader restoration capability. They do not establish availability, interchangeability between generations or a common build price.
Record the donor's chassis, engine and transmission identity, corrosion and previous changes. Canepa's restoration services are a relevant inquiry route, but a Carrera GT project must not be treated as evidence of a completed 911 commission.
Singer's documented Type 964-based services and GCD's 1986 911 project show different approaches. Agree what is being retained, rebuilt or redesigned before sourcing a donor.
Kindred publishes an EV 911 model. Ask for the current configuration, vehicle sourcing, battery support and purchase terms. A model offer does not prove that a customer-supplied donor is accepted.
