Big Suzie was commissioned by a Chicago client seeking a dependable city thumper that could also handle occasional off-pavement riding. Federal fabricated a bolt-on square-steel subframe with integrated lighting, adapted an SR500 tank and alternate radiator, rebuilt the suspension, hand-formed aluminum fenders, and integrated a custom exhaust and modern electrics.
